About

I started violin at nine. Nobody in my family played, so I found my way in through school orchestra, and my first teacher started sending gigs my way in high school. I've been playing for people ever since.

I studied business and finance at Auburn and played the whole time. I had the privilege of being concertmaster of the Auburn University Symphony for four semesters. Along with finishing university, I had been teaching violin since 2019, starting with the Auburn University Music Project and eventually my own private studio. All of these events lead me to be a better leader and player.

Eight years of weddings and events later, I've learned that a good ceremony musician is paying attention to more than the music: when the processional actually starts, whether the officiant is running long, what to do when the doors open late. I like that part of the job as much as the playing.

I moved to Nashville in 2026 and play weddings, corporate events, and services everywhere — solo, or leading a trio or quartet.
